The Indore Development Authority's annual meeting was held on Saturday at the Indore Tennis Club by IDA chairperson Jaipal Singh Chavda (ITC). Numerous initiatives worth Rs 331 crore were approved by the participants at the conference. IDA is working on several initiatives involving road maintenance, flyover development, start-up parks, an incubation facility, the ISBT, and swimming pools, among many others.
It was agreed to designate the under-construction auditorium behind Rajendra Nagar after Lata Mangeshkar, and the lowest bidder approved the proposal sum of Rs 9.94 crore for its beautification project.
Before the Pravasi Bhartiya Sammelan and the Global Investors' Conference, the IDA will engage in beautification and development works from the Super Corridor to the MR10 toll. The cost of this undertaking is Rs 21 crore. It should be mentioned that the airport's rehabilitation and landscaping work will cost approximately Rs 6 crore. These figures were also agreed upon at the conference.
The gathering also resolved to eliminate the service price for the public on the registration form. The IDA also opted to construct a flyover at Phooti Kothi Square for Rs 48 crore. A tender for this purpose has been released. At the session, a sum of Rs 331 crore was approved for various programs and projects.
