INDORE: Mumbai-based IT services provider in the information technology and information technology enabled services sector.
The IT sector company has plans to set up an incubation and business process outsourcing unit in Indore. A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between the LTIMindtree and the Madhya Pradesh State Electronics Development Corporation (MPSEDC) during the state government’s first Regional Industry Conclave at Ujjain on March 1.
LTIMindtree is investing Rs 810 crore in Madhya Pradesh.
They have taken up 10 acre in the Super Corridor and have proposed to create jobs for around 10,000 people. This investment will give a boost to the home grown IT sector and environment in the state and generate employment opportunities for local people. The growing footfall of IT companies in Indore and Madhya Pradesh and evolving conducive environment has recently attracted many large IT companies to the state,” said MPSEDC investment promotion officer-in-charge Awantika Varma.
MPSEDC said, the company will invest in two phases with the first phase expected to be completed by 2027 and the next by 2032. The IT services company is expected to start operations in the field of software development, IT services and consultation and business process services by early next fiscal, said officials.
