Super Corridor Indore Development is in Progress

IDA has now initiated its steps to set residence at the super corridor Indore. Vivek Agrawal, Urban development Commissioner had commanded IDA on this issue, on Tuesday. By next day, the six-hectare terrain of the IDA-172 scheme is under the government and was given to M.P. Power Transmission Company Limited. Very soon, the construction of 220KV Power substations would be started. For this. It would cost around 90 crores rupees. Currently, an isolated line is laid down to equip TCS Indore and Infosys in Indore with electricity. IDA had already levelled down the water project. Therefore, water projects may also get some drills yet the work has been started for constructing water tanks.

Previously, the officers of the company had searched for properties in Indore and the land in Gandhi Nagar was decided to construct high-pressure Power substations, but the farmers have refused to give their ownership rights. Later on, an area with khasara number 322 has been selected for sub-centres.

Within last days, the officers of the company had arrived to inspect the area which they finalized subsequently. The land transformation process has been taking a month to complete the formalities.

On Wednesday, Anil Chugh, Rajeev Saxena, IDA executive engineer have transferred this terrain to the representatives of the Transmission Company. With the construction of substations on this land, IDA-151, 169-B, 166, 172, 176 will get the power supply. Since the Super Corridor Indore has three sides FARs, therefore there are more chances to have a high rise in coming years and thus 220 KV power station has been already proposed.   

Construction in two months

With the land transfer for power stations, the construction has started in the super corridor. Within two months the corridor is going to change positively. The area of six hectares has already been given for constructing sub-stations. The super corridor developments will start with the budget of 100 crores. For drinking water supply, the project is being joined by Municipal Corporation.
